Mini Mani Month – Day 24

Dream big. Sparkle more. Shine bright.

Last day today, which means that it’s the big one! A full sized exclusive shade: Rom Com Rouge. I think it’s the Christmassy-ist polish I’ve ever seen – red and full of glitter! I do like it, but I’m going to be honest and say that I don’t know how I’m ever going to use that much of this colour; I think it’s very seasonal, and most of the Christmas season has now passed. I just hope it’s still good to use this time next year!!!

So that’s it; my advent calendar and Mini Mani Month are over! I just want to say thank you to everyone who has read my blog over the last month (and since it started back in August). I recently reached 100 followers, and I really can’t believe that this has grown so much in such a short space of time, so thank you to everyone!

Hope you all have a beautiful day, and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Mini Mani Month – Day 22

“My go-to red” – Olivia Palermo

A classic Ciaté shade today with Hutch. It is from the limited edition Olivia Palermo range that is a lot more expensive than the regular polishes. I am really excited about this as I would probably never spend that much on a nail polish, so I’m super happy that one was included in this calendar. It is a very bright red, and I already have two of those, so it might not be the most useful colour, but I do want to try it out to see if any of the new features (dual polymer mesh lock technology and volcanic glass) make any difference!

Hope you all have a beautiful day,

“The qualities I most admire in women are confidence and kindness” – Oscar de la Renta

Today’s shade is a beautiful neutral brown from the limited edition Broken Ballerina nail kit called Prima Ballerina. I have wanted this kit since it came out so I’m really excited about this one – I love these dark and moody, but chic, colours. I have also noticed that the polish from Day 17 (Shady Lady) is incredibly similar to one of the shades (Pliés Please Me) in this kit, so if you wanted to get both, you might as well get the kit!

Hope you all have a beautiful day,

“I believe in manicures” – Audrey Hepburn

This is the final nail treatment included in the calendar – Nail Gym. This treatment is designed to make your nails stronger and healthier, and can also be used as a base coat under any normal polish. I’m really excited to try out all of these new treatments, and see if they are any good – I will do a post at some point about my thoughts on the three of them, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Hope you all have a beautiful day,

Start the day with a smile and end it with Champagne

Another glittery polish today – this one is called Purple Rain-Bow. Again, I can’t find it on their website, but it seems to be very similar to their bestseller Confetti, just with a purple hue. I have to admit, the purple isn’t that obvious, but it is a nice polish that I will try out when I have occasion to!

Hope you all have a beautiful day,

Follow your dreams

Today’s shade is an amazing silver colour called Shady Lady, which again is not available on the website, however it is almost identical (I really can’t see any difference) to Fit for a Queen. I am already wearing this one, as I have a formal dinner to go to tonight and it matches my dress amazingly well! I really like this one; it’s like a polished silver metal colour when on and looks very classy.

Hope you all have a beautiful day,

Some girls are just born with glitter in their veins

Another nail topper today guys – this one is called Miracle on 34th. It is a gold glitter that you can use on top of wet nail polish to add a bit of sparkle! The toppers seem to be exclusive to the advent calendar, but the glitter polish Carousel would probably give you a similar effect. I do like this, but I’m not sure how I’d go about using it; I feel like it would be very messy as it does not come with any sort of applicator – it’s just a bottle of glitter.

Hope you have a beautiful day,
